- Eligible projects must be for Mission - not for general 'house-keeping' or payment of Parish Share
- Both loans and grants will be available for 'pump-priming' of projects
- Applications may be submitted at any time of the year but actual amounts will be determined by current Deanery Funds
- Applications should be submitted to either the Area Dean or Lay Chairman and will be considered by the Deanery Mission & Ministry Committee
- Each applications must contain the following details:
- Nature of the project - name, objective, time frame, personnel involved
- Likely outcome
- Estimate of cost
- Whether loan or grant requested. If the latter, terms of repayment
- Copy of current parish accounts
- The Deanery Mission & Ministry Committee will discuss the project with the incumbent, churchwardens or others proposing the initiative
- The Deanery Mission & Ministry Committee will consider how the project would fit into the Deanery Mission Plan and thus how it might be of benefit throughout the Deanery. It may be of value to seek the Archdeacon's views and opinions, and to determine whether any additional support may be provided within Ashford Archdeaconry
